Having recently released singles ‘Brooklyn’ and ‘Bleached Blonde’ Wellington-based outfit Glass Vaults have now let loose their second studio album The New Happy. The record follows on the footsteps of the group’s 2014 offering Sojourn, but sees them reach even deeper into a world of swirling psychedelic indie-pop to pull out nine-songs set to tickle the senses. Earlier this year the band told Clash in an interview that the record “looks not to emulate a sexual high, but a deeper, euphoric wave, that washes over the body in feelings of comfort and security… a new kind of happy”.
